Radiance Discovery: Eve Lom's TLC Cream
Happy Thursday, everyone!
As many of you already know, I have combination skin and every winter, my cheeks go extra dry, especially in heated rooms. In order to be sure that my dry cheeks stay well-moisturized overnight, I switch out my usual moisturizer that I use over warmer months to a thicker cream. The tricky part is finding a product that doesn't make my oily t-zone area shine while keeping my cheeks hydrated.
A few months ago, when I purchased the Rescue Mask by Eve Lom, I also bought the brand's TLC Cream, as recommended by SpaceNK's on-site beauty expert. I started using the cream last month and I've decided to share the product with you because I've already fallen in love with it!
I use this cream as the last step in my evening skincare routine, after double-cleansing, spraying a hydrating toner and applying a sheet mask. Not only does it keep my skin intensely hydrated throughout the night, it also never makes my skin oily!
The ingredients include Bulgarian rose otto oil, so the cream smells so, very nice. It's probably my favorite nice-smelling cream, ever. The scent is not overpowering but instead, calming and relaxing. When I close my eyes, I feel like I might be in a fancy spa. Perfect for bedtime I'd say. It also contains chamomile oil, which helps with soothing redness and puffiness.
I love that the cream makes my skin feel a lot softer and so much more conditioned after every use. Sometimes my cheeks feel like they're cracking like a desert land, but the cream is able to smooth it out.
During the in-between seasons, I would only use it on my cheeks and not my t-zone area just because it's a little too rich for it. However, in the winter, I use this cream on my entire face, as well as my neck actually!
Personally, I would say this is definitely a good product for those with sensitive, dry skin. Although a 50ml tub seems small, it has lasted me a while, because you don't actually need very much! I will for sure be using this before I board my 16-hour flight to Taiwan next month.
