Interview: A Peek into Fashion Blogger Megan Little’s Beauty Life

Since January this year, we started a really interesting series of interviews featuring amazing individuals from around the world. Everyone lives in a different city, works in a different industry and is beautiful in their very own different way. The fourth interview is with fashion blogger Megan Little.

About Megan

Megan is a fashion blogger based in Seattle, WA.

Megan is a fashion blogger based in Seattle, WA.

From Seattle, WA, Megan is the founder of lifestyle blog Sort of Style. On the blog, Megan talks about fashion, beauty, and wellness in her role as a mother. She believes that even after having kids, one can still find the balance and have fun with everything fashion-related.

I started following Megan on Instagram when I came across one of her outfit posts last year. She paired a white turtleneck t-shirt over cropped jeans with white sneakers and a camel coat – something so simple, yet so chic. I was actually surprised to later find out she was a mom! And did I mention, her hair is always so perfect, too; major #hairenvy on my part.

Although I don’t have kids yet, I understand how difficult it is to remember to also take good care of yourself when you start caring for a child. That’s why I think Megan’s ability and flair in juggling multiple roles as a mother, as a fashion enthusiast, and as a lifestyle blogger is what makes her beautiful.

What's more, Megan has beautiful skin. Her natural glow is amazing! Read on to find out how Megan looks after her skin and what her personal beauty tips are.

A Chat with Megan

Skin type?

          Combination.

Main concerns?

          Pores and blackheads.

Your No.1, most important beauty product?

Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Serum by RoC®. I have been using this serum for a couple years and I really believe it is the one product I use that keeps my skin clear and smooth. When I run out and don't use it for a few days, my skin begins to look dull and I begin to get small breakouts. So, I always keep some stocked now! Immediately after I wash my face I apply the serum. It does have a mild sting but that lets me know it’s working. I then follow with a moisturizer to complete my night routine. I only use retinol once a day at night.

One product you must travel with?

Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes by Neutrogena. I have been using these makeup remover wipes for several years and they are the best on the market in my opinion. They really remove all my face makeup with just one wipe and without much effort. I love the fragrance as well and they are easy to throw in my handbag which is nice to travel with.

Your favorite beauty brand?

I don't have a favorite beauty brand as I like to try different products all the time. I will say that as far as drugstore products go, L'Oréal always delivers high-quality products. And for high-end beauty products, I have really liked Hourglass Cosmetics because the formulation is really like no other; Erno Laszlo skin care, because you see results almost immediately; and MAC Cosmetics, because their lipsticks deliver high pigmentation and their eyeshadows blend seamlessly.

Product introduced by Key To Radiance that you want to try?

I am willing to try almost any beauty product that has good reviews. I am a true product junkie and love to test new items all the time!

Beauty tips?

My favorite skincare tip: avoid alcohol and starchy food most of the time to maintain good elasticity in your skin. My favorite beauty tip: apply foundation with your fingers to avoid using too much product and to prevent a caked-on look.

Thank you, Megan!
