Radiance Discovery: The Green Tea Seed Serum
Hello, everyone! Another Monday means another week closer to Christmas!
It’s already the middle of November and it finally feels like fall with the colder weather, but sadly that means my skin has been getting drier, too. I have tried numerous different moisturizers for my skin in the past because my skin never seems to stay hydrated, although my T-zone loves reminding me that my face is still capable of being oily at the same time.
I have used and been obsessed with innisfree sheet masks for about 2 years now, so when I learned that they had a green tea serum, the latest addition to our Radiance Discovery collection, I made sure to get my hands on it.
I use this serum every day before I put my makeup on, and some days at night as well, before I go to bed after cleansing my face. It has been three weeks since I started using this product and I love that a little goes a long way!
Innisfree’s natural ingredients are from the Jeju island in South Korea, and one of the company’s main fields produces green tea. Green tea extract has the ability to hydrate dry skin and to enhance our skin's protective barrier. The green tea extract and the green tea seed oil work together to give you a smooth and glowing complexion.
This serum has become my favorite part of my beauty routine.
The scent. I am a huge fan of the scent, it is a light fresh scent that is similar to the scent their sheet masks have. I have a sensitive nose so I appreciate that this product doesn’t have a potent smell.
The consistency. I would describe it as a middle child of water and oil. It’s very thin and liquidy. Usually, two small pumps give me enough to cover my face and neck (don’t forget to always moisturize your neck too!). I like that the serum isn’t sticky or slimy as some serums are.
For the first couple of days, my skin really only felt moisturized when I put on the serum, but as I’ve been using it daily, now even when I don’t have the serum on, my skin is more hydrated than it was before. This is definitely a product that offers long-term changes!
One of the worst things is putting makeup on dry skin because not only does it look flakey but the strong wind and cold weather can hurt and damage your natural skin, too. So perhaps you can consider starting to prep your skin now for the upcoming winter season!
